This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Grimzy handles all user information when you use our AI photo-to-short-video iOS application. We attach top priority to user privacy protection throughout all functions of the App.
The App does not collect any facial information from users under any circumstances, and we will never share any of your personal data with third-party AI service providers in any form.
This policy applies to all users accessing and using Grimzy on iOS devices. We design all product functions based on full local privacy protection without mandatory account registration and login requirements.
No Mandatory Account System: Grimzy requires no account registration, no phone number binding, no email verification and no social account login for all core and advanced functions. Users can open the App and use all video generation and editing functions directly without submitting any personal identity information.
Zero Passive Background Data Collection: We do not deploy any background monitoring programs, tracking scripts or data collection modules in the App. The App will not automatically read, scan or extract any hidden personal information from your iOS device without your active manual operation.
Independent Local AI Operation Logic: All AI video rendering, dynamic camera movement generation, special effect overlay and transition production processes run completely locally on your iOS device. We do not transmit any user operation data to remote cloud servers for AI computing.
Grimzy's core function is to convert static single images into dynamic short videos via local AI algorithms. All user-uploaded original images and all AI-generated short video files adopt full local storage mode, and we strictly follow the following data management rules:
Full Local Storage Without Cloud Synchronization: All images you upload manually and all short videos generated by the App are only stored locally on your own iPhone or iPad device. Our App background server has no access permission to your local media files, and we will not automatically back up, cache or copy your uploaded images and generated videos to any remote cloud server.
Complete User Control Over Local Media Files: You have full independent management rights for all local images and videos inside the App. You can preview, edit, export to a local device album, delete a single file or clear all local cache files at any time through the built-in file management module of Grimzy. Once you delete any media file in the App, the corresponding file will be permanently removed from your device with no residual data left.
No Background Access to User Media Content: Our App server will not actively scan, access, analyze or obtain any content of your uploaded images and generated videos in the background. Even if you use advanced paid functions including HD video export, watermark-free output and exclusive material packages, we still do not obtain any content information of your creation files.
To fully protect user privacy, we clearly list all types of information that Grimzy will never collect, store or process in any usage scenario:
Biometric Information: We never access your device camera, front camera or face recognition module actively or passively. The App will never capture, identify, store or analyze your facial information, facial feature data or any other biometric data.
Personal Identity Information: We do not collect your name, age, gender, contact information, residential address, device unique identifier, Apple ID information and other personal identity data. Since no account login is required, no identity-related data will be generated or retained during the whole usage process.
Usage Behavior Tracking Data: We do not track your operation tracks, usage duration, function click records and other in-app behavior data. We will not conduct user behavior analysis or user portrait construction based on your operation habits.
Device Sensitive Information: We will not obtain your device location information, Bluetooth information, network information, storage disk information and other sensitive device data without your explicit authorization.
Grimzy minimizes all third-party service access to avoid any potential privacy leakage risks. We make the following clear commitments on third-party data sharing and third-party service docking:
No Cooperation with External Third-Party AI Service Providers: All AI video generation algorithms, dynamic lens animation effects, scene special effects and transition effects are independently deployed locally inside the App. We do not access any external cloud AI interface, and never transmit user pictures, text prompt content, creation parameters and other data to any third-party AI platform for computing assistance.
No Data Sharing with Any Third-Party Institutions: We will not sell, rent, exchange or disclose any user-related data to advertising platforms, data statistical companies, marketing service providers and other third-party commercial organizations. There is no built-in third-party data tracking SDK or advertising SDK in the App.
Independent Social Sharing Function Without Data Upload: The built-in one-click social platform sharing function only calls the official native sharing module of the iOS system. When you share generated videos to social platforms, all file transmission is completed by the iOS system independently. Our App will not obtain or upload any sharing content and sharing behavior data.
Grimzy provides in-app purchase services for users to unlock advanced rights including HD video export, watermark-free video output and exclusive creative material packages. All payment processes fully follow Apple App Store official payment specifications:
All payment operations are completed on Apple's official payment system. We cannot obtain your bank card information, Apple Pay data, payment password and other sensitive payment details. We only receive official order verification feedback from Apple to confirm your paid function activation status.
We will not bind your payment order information with your device or usage behavior, and all payment records will not be associated with any of your creation content.
All built-in video templates, special effect materials, transition elements and audio resources inside Grimzy are independently authorized and have complete legal copyright qualifications. We do not use any unauthorized third-party copyrighted materials to avoid copyright infringement risks. Meanwhile, our product design and data processing logic fully comply with Apple App Store review guidelines and iOS system privacy permission rules.
Grimzy only applies for two necessary iOS system permissions to realize core functions, and all permission applications are transparent and only used for corresponding local functions:
Photo Album Permission: Only used for you to upload local images for video generation and save generated videos to your device photo album. We will not read other irrelevant photos in your album actively.
Network Permission: Only used for official in-app purchase order verification and version update detection. No user creation data or personal information will be transmitted via network.
We have the right to update and optimize this Privacy Policy irregularly according to product function iteration and iOS official privacy rule adjustments.
